Jei Yoo is a freelance artist based in Manhattan originally from Staten Island, New York. Attending Montclair State University, she has trained in techniques such as ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, improvisation, physical theatre, etc. and has worked with Doug Varone, Michelle Manzanales from Ballet Hispanico, Maxine Steinman, and Stefanie Batten Bland. She continues to study with Caterina Rago in Graham technique at Peridance whom she had been a student of since 2015. She has found a love for language in movement and tongue. Storytelling, community, and connection hopes to be seen throughout her art.
