Miguel Miranda is a Peruvian multidisciplinary dancer and choreographer based in New York City. He has performed as a company artist in Punchdrunk’s Sleep NoMore NYC and Emursive’s Life and Trust, as well as a collaborator with Stefanie Batten Bland’s Company SBB .
His choreographic work has been presented at 92nd Street Y, New York City Center, the Ailey Citigroup Theater, the Martha Graham Studio Theater, the Mark O’Donnell Theater, and through American College Dance Association, among others. He holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Montclair State University (2023), where he was recognized with the Choreographic Excellence Award.
In 2025, Miguel received commissions from McKoy Dance Project and Limón 2. In Spring 2026, he will premiere a new independent work at the World Bank Group in Washington, D.C., and create two additional commissioned works for Alessandra Corona Performing Works and Tabula Rasa Dance Theater.
Alongside his creative practice, he is deeply committed to education and community engagement, leading workshops and master classes for dancers of all levels while cultivating inclusive environments that expand access to dance across diverse communities.
