Wesley Ensminger, originally from Santa Cruz, CA, fell deep into his endless curiosity of movement exploration at California Institute of the Arts where he received his BFA in Dance performance and Choreography.

After collaborating and performing with several companies throughout Los Angeles, he made the move to NYC 9 years ago where his love of teaching and sharing Release, exploring movement creation and choreography took off.

His works explore humanity, interconnection and atmosphere and have been presented at New York Live Arts, Symphony Space NYC, REDCAT LA, and Gibney Dance Theater. He is currently on Faculty at the Joffrey Ballet School, Peridance Center, and Gibney Dance.
